There are still many children across Merseyside and the North West awaiting adoptive families, but there are not enough families approved to adopt. We are supporting National Adoption Week from 15 to 21 October 2018 and Steve Hargrave from Nugent Adoption said:
“Most of the children awaiting new families will have had a very difficult start in life and need a family who can offer them a secure and loving environment during their childhood and into their adult lives.
Nugent Adoption has always specialised in placing the most vulnerable children and these children specifically include older children (age 4 and up), sibling groups who need to stay together, and children with additional needs.
It is these children we search long and hard to find families for. We are focussing our search for adoptive families for this group of children and urge anyone who has considered adoption to come and learn more about adopting a child and contact us today.”
